From Theory to Application

  • by Evelyn Corral
Since I was a child, I've loved unique items: boxes filled with stickers, nick-nacks, and uniqueness.  The rarer, the better; and that is still true today.  I look for items that are not mass produced, but in fact are artisan made.  You will learn about the artisan who created your product, where they are from, and the benefits behind their products.  Antiqueologie is a safe haven, it is place where you can find inspiration such as stories, video tutorials, online resources, and artisan made items.
Since I couldn't find a place like this, I decided to create this platform.  It started with a little fire in my heart, and then I found myself not having enough time between my full-time job, family, and my extracurricular activity.  So I took the leap, left my job, and started pursuing Antiqueologie full time.  I can happily say dreams do come true, if you take the leap of faith, and work hard.
Antiqueologie's mission is to harbor, create, and promote items of high craftsmanship for the everyday person through storytelling and design.  I would love to hear your story, what inspires you, and how you've made it big.
